The Maharaja Chhatrasal Bundelkhand University has decided to publish a multi-disciplinary research journal which aims at projecting the work of the faculty and researchers in its affiliated colleges before the academia in the State and the country. The journal will also facilitate greater interaction within the academic community of the university and promote interdisciplinary research that brings natural and social sciences, humanities and arts together to find solutions to the problems of the region. The journal may publish articles by researchers from outside the University only by invitation and on topics of relevance to the region.
The Journal will publish original articles from all disciplines based on new research or review on topics of contemporary interest. Science articles will be only in English whereas the articles from other disciplines can be in English or Hindi. Generally, the articles will be restricted to less than 8 printed pages (about 450 words each) including figures.
The manuscript should be written in a clear, direct and active style. They should be prepared using Microsoft WORD only. The page layout should be only A-4 size, 2.5 cm margin on all the four sides, and 1.5 line spacing. The text should be carefully checked for typographical errors.
The first page must include full title of the paper; full name, institutional address and email ID of each of the authors. The title should be precise and brief. This must be followed by a brief informative Abstract which reflects the contents and does not exceed 200 words. After this, add 4-5 key words for indexing.
The main text should start from a new page. Standard sections as Introduction, Materials, Study Area, Methods, Results, Discussion and Conclusions should be used in research papers in science. Objectives of the study should be clearly stated in the Introduction. For other papers (reviews, commentaries, and in social science and humanities) the text may be subdivided according to the issues to be discussed.
References should be cited in the text by the author's name and year. All references cited in the text should be listed at the end, arranged alphabetically and in full (giving names of all authors, year, complete title, full name of the journal/book, volume and page numbers). Footnotes should not be used. However, numbered endnotes can be used in papers from Humanities and Social Sciences.
Tables and figures should be placed after the References, numbered consecutively and provided a short title. Data comprising of only a few values should not be given in a Table or Figure. Please do not include coloured figures or photographs.
